From Syracuse, New York, Trisha Maini is a third-year medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She attended college at SUNY Geneseo where she received a BS in Biology. She always knew she wanted to go into medicine and as such, applied to medical school through an early assurance program when she was a sophomore in college. She loves the institution of medicine and hopes to one day specialize in either surgery or anesthesia. When she isn’t learning more about the human body, you can find her kickboxing, reading, or doing her favorite activity (sleeping!). She knows how stressful and important the process of applying to medical school is and is more than excited to help others work towards their goals. She is so happy to be joining Project Short, since she loves working with students and helping them fine tune their applications to achieve their dreams!
