Taylor Trentadue (she/her), from Long Island, New York, is currently an M.D.-Ph.D. Trainee in the Mayo Clinic Medical Scientist Training Program. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and Physiology, and her research interests are in orthopedic biomechanics and musculoskeletal imaging. Prior to joining the Mayo MSTP in 2018, Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University, where she double-majored in Evolutionary Anthropology and Global Health with a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and then worked as a Research Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Beyond the lab and classroom, Taylor enjoys dancing, yoga, Pilates, baking, traveling, and spending time at local coffee shops. She is grateful for the opportunity to engage with future M.D.-Ph.D. colleagues through Project SHORT.
