Taylor Jamil went to Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and studied Molecular Biology and Spanish. She conducted research on proteins in mosquito kidneys to search for a better and safer pesticide and she was also on the women's collegiate soccer team. She is now a rising fourth year medical student and is working towards an MD/MPH dual degree. She is interested in surgery, particularly ENT, and is interested in how public health interventions can help decrease surgical disease and outcomes. She also loves cooking, cycling, reading, and coffee. She's really excited to be a part of Project SHORT!
