Shirley is a native New Yorker and medical student at the CUNY School of Medicine/Sophie Davis Program. She is interested in pursuing pediatrics and has been involved in several youth development, community advocacy, and public health projects. Her current research interests include investigating chronic hepatitis B among children and young adults. She is a strong believer in mentorship and giving back. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, watching animal videos, and listening to music. Shirley has a unique perspective from her non-traditional BS/MD route and is excited to join this amazing team!
