Ravyn is a second year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine (ULSOM). She began her journey to medicine at Northern Kentucky University and transferred to the University of Louisville her sophomore year and finished off her degree in Biology in 2019. She then went on to pursue her Master of Science in Immunology at the University of Cincinnati (UC) graduating in 2021. While at UC she was a graduate assistant with the peer tutoring program and part of her job was to be a mentor to tutors. This was one of her favorite parts of the job as she loves to create a fun yet meaningful relationship with her mentees in order to help them develop professionally. With that being said, she continued on with her love of mentoring and currently serves as a mentor to incoming M1 students at ULSOM. Other involvement includes student admissions standing committee member as well as anesthesiologist interest group member. When she is not focused on academia, Ravyn is typically shopping, exploring the outdoors with her Beagle, watching football, or being engrossed in any movie or show that takes her to a new world. Ravyn is passionate about sharing her story and loves to inspire and help others reach their goals.
