Naomi is originally from Olympia, Washington, and attended the University of Chicago for undergrad. She graduated with a bachelor�s degree in chemistry in 2019, spent one year working on antibody engineering and glycobiology at the National Cancer Institute in Frederick, Maryland, and is now in her first year at the University of Washington Medical Scientist Training Program. Her research interests include cancer biology, mechanisms of therapeutic resistance, and applications of chemical biology to cancer treatment. She also enjoys reading, hiking, fencing, and playing with all the dogs she possibly can.
