Marcus is a rising 3rd year medical student at Howard University College of Medicine. A nontraditional student from New Jersey he earned a B.S. in Molecular Biology from Montclair State University and Master of Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University - Newark. He also worked in biotech before starting medical school. As a minority in medicine (Black/Cuban) his goal is to increase diversity in the medical field by providing resources and guidance to those in need of mentorship. His specialty of interest is orthopedic surgery. His other interests include concert going, hiking, working out, and traveling.
