Luke Schwarz is a medical student at the University of Washington in the class of 2024. He was born and raised in Boise, ID and received his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA where he also played rugby. While in school, he did research in bacterial quorum sensing and lung cancer oncogenes. After graduation, he worked as a Biotech Consultant for Putnam Associates in San Francisco for two years before starting medical school. He enjoys playing soccer, hiking, backpacking, fishing, and fantasy novels.
