Lili is originally from Lebanon, and moved to Cleveland in 2014 to attend Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). While at CWRU, she studied biology as an undergrad and worked in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Tesar, studying genetic myelin disorders. After graduating, Lili moved to New York, where she worked at the New York Stem Cell Foundation, using human induced pluripotent stem cell models to study neurological diseases. Lili is now an MD/PhD student at Washington University in St. Louis and is interested in studying genetic neurological disorders and glial cell biology. Outside of school and lab, she enjoys reading, cooking, watching tv shows, and spending time with friends, and is excited to help applicants navigate the application process.
