Originally from outside of Boston, Jillian graduated Colgate University in 2017 where she studied neurobiology. She furthered these interests as post-baccalaureate researcher at the NIH studying the development of glial cells. Beginning July 2019, Jillian will start the MD/PhD program at University of Massachusetts Medical School, hoping to investigate the contributions of neuron-glia interactions in neurological disorders. When not working or studying, Jillian loves to run, talk about the Bachelor, and is on the hunt for the best chocolate chip cookie. She is excited to work with students and help navigate the application process with support and encouragement.
