Jennifer O'Brien grew up in Rockville Maryland, attended the University of Maryland, College Park, and is now a 3rd year medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She took three gap years where she worked as a medical scribe and a research assistant in a basic science lab. She is currently interested in Family Medicine and does research in geriatric pain management. She applied to medical school twice before being accepted and would love to share her knowledge of the process with other students hoping to become doctors!
