Cambray Smith began her MD-PhD training at UNC, Chapel Hill in summer 2020. She graduated from NC State University in 2018 with her BS in Nutrition Science and then spent two years at Mayo Clinic, Rochester working in biomedical ethics research. Her interests are in public health, social sciences, and ethics, and she has experience in mixed methods projects across multiple disciplines. Much of her extracurricular and academic involvement has focused on health equity in both domestic and international settings. In her free time, she likes to read, write, and spend time outdoors. She looks forward to enthusiastically supporting others throughout the long and challenging MD/PhD application process
