Bernadette Miao is an MD/PhD candidate at the University of Chicago. She attended the University of Chicago for undergrad, majoring in chemistry and biological chemistry. During undergrad, she engaged in nanomaterials, super-resolution microscopy, and vascular biology research. Bernadette is passionate about STEM outreach and mentorship and is excited to help students navigate medical and graduate school applications. Outside of science and medicine, she loves spelling bees, mid-distance running, and watching the Great British Bake Off.
