Allison "Allie" Strauss is a medical student of the Class of 2023 at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA. Originally a California girl from the Bay Area, Allie made her cross country venture for college to attend Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Human Science from the School of Nursing and Health Studies. After graduating, Allie worked as a surgical liaison in the surgery center at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital before matriculating into medical school. She has experience mentoring + tutoring various populations from primary school to college. In her free time, she enjoys adrenaline seeking activities, time spent outdoors, and endless cups of coffee.
