Yong is a PhD student in cognitive neuroscience at Dartmouth College working in BrainStörmer Lab. He received his B.S. in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience at UC San Diego where he worked on a variety of projects investigating human's visual systems. After graduating college Yong briefly worked as a lab manager in Perception & Cognition Lab at UCSD before joining Dartmouth for his graduate program. He is currently interested in studying topics such as visual perception, visual working memory, and attention and their underlying neural mechanisms using a variety of both behavioral and neuroimaging methods. When he’s not in front of a computer Yong likes playing guitar, watching TV, drinking beer, and cooking Korean foods (or going to a good Korean food restaurant).
