Vagisha Kulshreshtha is a PhD student at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in the United States. They are from India, where they attended the University of Delhi and obtained a Bachelors in Zoology and a Masters in Genetics. Their current research interests include the biology of ageing and clinical and translational science. They are passionate about mentoring students in STEM who have a non-traditional educational background, as they believe that these students have a fresh and diverse outlook that can help them during their doctoral research and further in their careers. Vagisha enjoys being a student mentor in their graduate student community, playing video games and collecting unconventional earrings!
