Shelby received her Bachelor’s in psychology from Duke University, her Master’s in cognitive neuroscience from University of Texas at Dallas and is currently a Neuroscience PhD student at Washington University in St Louis. She is interested in better understanding biological mechanisms through which prenatal environments imprint on the developing brain and in attending to the ways that variability in early brain development maps onto variability in later behavior. Outside of the lab, she enjoys bingeing TV shows, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
