Shelby Johnson (she/her) is a neurodiverse, bi-racial (Mexican/Caucasian), cisgender female. She is currently in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Washington State University. Her research interests center around early assessment and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and related cultural disparities to these early assessments. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 with a double major in Psychology and Spanish. After UNC, Shelby worked at Duke University in autism research. When not doing schoolwork, Shelby loves spending time outside, hiking, reading, and playing board games!
