Shannon Shaughnessy is an incoming Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student with Dr. Spencer Evans at the University of Miami and an NSF GRFP fellow. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Psychology and a minor in International Studies in 2020. After graduation, she spent two-years with Dr. Melissa Brotman at the National Institute of Mental Health, studying novel treatments for pediatric irritability. Her research interests include the cognitive and neurological underpinnings of aggression and irritability in children and the potential for technology to enhance phenotyping.
