Sarah is a PhD Candidate in Neuroscience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY, using human stem cell-based models of the brain to study genetic risk factors for psychiatric disorders in the labs of Drs. Nan Yang and Kristen Brennand. Sarah completed her B.S. in Biochemistry at Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2019 where her personal interest in mental illness and mental health advocacy led her towards neurogenomics research. Outside of lab, Sarah enjoys traveling, photography, and exploring all of NYC’s museums, live shows and antique shops.
