She/her/hers

Sara got her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from William & Mary. During her time there, she had the opportunity to do research examining the impact of autism-related traits on social cognition. After graduating, Sara started in the Neuroscience PhD program at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently studying the relationship between autism-related behaviors as well as the genetic basis for them. Some of her favorite things about her PhD program are the opportunities for outreach, science communication, and teaching. When not in the lab or the classroom, Sara is looking for new recipes to try, books to read, podcasts to listen to, and places to travel.
