He/him/his

Roberto is a Bioscience PhD Student in the lab of Mary Beth Hatten at The Rockefeller University. He is interested in the molecular mechanisms underlying early cerebellar development and how failures in those processes result in medulloblastoma, a highly aggressive pediatric brain tumor. Prior to graduate school, Roberto obtained his BS in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. Following graduation, he was an NIH-PREP fellow at the University of Washington in Seattle. Outside of the lab, you can find Roberto exploring the endless possibilities New York City has to offer, especially in the food and beverage setting. He aspires to pursue a career in academia and to build long-lasting collaborations and friendships as his career progresses.
