Regina is a student in the Population Biology Graduate Group at the University of California, Davis. They plan to integrate genomics, evolutionary biology, and archaeobotany to study the evolution of maize. As an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania, Regina conducted research both in the Department of Biology and at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. They were previously an NSF-REU intern at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, where they studied the phylogenomics of ginseng. They are passionate about museums, plants, and the past.
