Rachel earned her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2021. Her dissertation examined the effects of noninvasive brain stimulation on cocaine seeking in rats. She spends her free time volunteering for science organizations including the National Science Policy Network and Chicago Society for Neuroscience. She enjoys mentoring and working with young scientists and helping them through their own professional development journeys.
