Phúc is pursuing a doctoral degree in Cognitive Psychology at Purdue University. Before coming to Purdue in Fall 2022, Phúc was a Grinnell College graduate with a Psychology major as well as two Statistics and Neuroscience concentrations. His research revolves around misinformation, specifically how misinformation beliefs are formed and maintained in different social contexts and across time. Along the same lines, he is also interested in studying social decision-making and memory. Joining Project SHORT, Phúc wants to help (international) students applying for psychology Ph.D. programs utilize available resources more efficiently and navigate around this mentally exhausting process with more self-confidence.
