She/her/hers

Paige Amormino is a 2nd-year PhD student in psychology at Georgetown University. She studies moral psychology – why we do good things and why we feel obligated to help some people more than others. Paige completed her undergraduate thesis in psychology under the advisorship of Susan Fiske, where she studied stereotype content and attributions of blame. Paige also did a one-year post-bacc before graduate school, where she helped coordinate a longitudinal reading study investigating the effects of reading fiction on social cognition. Outside of her research, Paige enjoys lounging with her two cats and is still figuring out how to find more hobbies.
