Özlü Aran is Ph.D. candidate in Developmental Psychology at the University of Denver. She is interested in early life stress exposure, fetal programming, infant emotional development, mother-child interactions, cultural context as well as impact of sociocultural factors on disparities. Özlü finished her pre-doctoral studies in Turkey where is from and moved to the US as an international student. She is happy to talk about potential concerns international applicants might have and share her experience. She enjoys learning Spanish, making travel plans and watching independent movies.
