Olivia completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and biology with a concentration in neuroscience at Williams College where she was also a goalkeeper and captain of the Williams Women's Soccer team. After graduating, Olivia moved back to her hometown of New York City and joined the McEwen Lab of neuroendocrinology as a post-baccalaureate research assistant. She is currently a neuroscience Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, San Francisco and is studying the neural mechanisms of deep brain stimulation for the treatment of Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. When not in the lab, Olivia enjoys all things outdoors - running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, you name it.
