Nicole started her combined Masters/PhD program in experimental psychology at the University of Cincinnati in 2019. She earned her BA in both Psychology and Russian from Grinnell College. Nicole studies movement coordination and adaptability from the approach of ecological psychology and dynamic systems. She hopes to produce perceptual interventions to aid individuals with movement impairments in moving more easily in their environment. She received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in 2020. In her free time, Nicole likes to read, play cello, rock climb, hang with friends, pet all the dogs, and play games.
