Nathan Bartley is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Southern California, where he studies how information spreads over social networks. He got his B.A. in Biology and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, and knows what it's like to wrangle with the questions of "should I apply? Is it the right time? Do I really want this?". Having applied to grad schools twice (once to bioinformatics and once to computer science), he's interested in helping other students navigate the stressful process and tell their story! In his free time he enjoys watching and playing sports (mostly soccer), exercising, reading, and playing games of all sorts (board games, Dungeons & Dragons, video games, etc).
