Monique is a first-year media psychology PhD student in the Virtual Human Interaction Lab at Stanford University. She studies the psychological, behavioral, and social implications of virtual reality, particularly as it relates to climate and sustainability. Prior to starting at Stanford, Monique earned her Bachelor of Arts in Conservation Psychology and Global Health from Middlebury College. She spent two years post-graduation conducting research and working at the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston Children's Hospital, and Oxford University. Outside of the lab, Monique is sailing, running, or painting.
