Mila is a PhD student in the Brain & Cognitive Sciences Department at MIT. Her research focuses on comparing neural oscillations and spiking across different mammals. This work is key to understanding the ways human brains are (and aren’t) unique. She completed her BA in Computational Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego, and worked in an intracranial electrophysiology lab at Massachusetts General Hospital before starting graduate school. Outside of lab, she enjoys seafood, cycling, and reality TV.
