Mikaela Seemann is a biochemistry PhD student at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Her research interests are in structural biology, biophysics, and chemical biology. In undergraduate, she received a B.S. Biochemistry and a B.A. in French from High Point University (NC). Her research at High Point involved characterizing small molecules for adjuvant and antibiotic activity in antibiotic resistant bacteria. In her free time, she enjoys playing the flute, traveling, and working with horses.
