Miguel is a 4th year PhD student in Bioengineering at Harvard University. His graduate research focuses on the development of novel cancer vaccines using principles from materials science and dendritic cell biology. Miguel came to graduate school after earning a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 2017. Miguel is from Cascais, a beautiful beach town outside Lisbon, Portugal. Outside of research, Miguel enjoys traveling, listening to podcasts, and playing soccer and tennis.
