Michael, originally from Nigeria, holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Lagos State University. He subsequently earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos, also in Nigeria, and later completed a Master of Research in Parasite Control at Aberystwyth University in the United Kingdom, supported by the prestigious Commonwealth Shared Scholarship in 2021. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Arizona, where his research focuses on investigating the roles of Lysine Deacetylase 1 complexes in the positive regulation of transcription. Michael is highly committed to mentoring students and helping them navigate the intricacies of undergraduate and graduate school applications. Outside of his academic and research pursuits, he enjoys traveling, exploring new hobbies, and fishing.
