Meagan is a 3rd year PhD student in Physics at Cornell University, with research focused on physics education. She studies introductory physics students' perceptions of and interactions with one another using methods of Social Network Analysis and applies qualitative methodologies to understand how students engage with and frame their physics labs. She came to graduate school after earning a B.S. in Mathematics-Physics from the University of Connecticut, where she was first exposed to education research. As an undergraduate, she conducted a study on the role of Intellectual Humility in college physics courses. Outside of research, Meagan enjoys playing lacrosse, traveling, hiking, board games, and cooking.
