Matt is a first year PhD student in Psychology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. His research explores how people think about their own well-being and its consequences on judgment and decision-making. Matt received a B.S. in Neuroscience with minors in Psychology and Philosophy from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2018. At Tulane, he spent three years as a research assistant in the Learning and Brain Development Lab. Upon graduating, Matt spent two years as a lab coordinator and research technician in the Interdisciplinary Affective Science Lab at Northeastern before beginning his graduate research in Fall 2020 as a member of the Social Emotions Lab. Outside of the lab, Matt enjoys exercising, attending comedy shows, listening to podcasts, and watching his beloved Chicago Cubs.
