Mary is a postdoctoral research fellow in Applied Developmental and Educational Psychology at Boston College. Her research focuses on early mathematical cognition, including the role of playful and informal learning opportunities and interactions for mathematical learning and problem solving in early childhood. She completed her Ph.D. in Human Development and Quantitative Methodology, with a specialization in Developmental Science at the University of Maryland, College Park and her B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Science at Wesleyan University.
