Maciej is a 3rd year graduate student working with Professor Dan Ralph in the Department of Physics at Cornell University. His research focuses on studying spintronic devices made from 2D materials made by exfoliating bulk crystals. Before coming to Cornell Maciej did his undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics at the University of Notre Dame. There he worked with Professor Morten Eskildsen on using molecular dynamic simulations to study Skyrmion lattices in type-II superconductors. Outside of research, Maciej loves to spend time outdoors including hiking, cross country skiing and swimming.
