Lindsay Ejoh is a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania. She was born in Yaounde, Cameroon, and moved to America with her family in 2002. Her first exposure to research science was in her senior year of high school, as an intern in a neuroscience lab at NIH, where she studied the role of the medial amygdala in aggression in mice. Lindsay recently graduated with a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, where she conducted research projects in a variety of areas, including the relationship between musical ability and second-language learning, protein aggregate formation in ALS, and disorders of the enteric nervous system. Her research interests include the microbiota-gut-brain axis and pain neurobiology. She is also super passionate about scientific writing and finding creative ways to communicate research findings to the public. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys singing, playing piano, and reading in her free time.
