Lily is currently a second year PhD student in the Program in Neuroscience in the lab of Dr. Nicholas Bellono at Harvard and studies how diverse organisms with specialized natural behaviors detect and respond to environmental stimuli in their particular ecological contexts. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Neuroscience from Brandeis University and worked in the lab of Dr. Eve Marder studying a well-described invertebrate neural circuit’s adaptive responses to global perturbation. At Brandeis, Lily greatly enjoyed mentoring and advising many students studying the life sciences and wishes to continue helping others explore scientific research and enable them to pursue their passions.
