Kristen Sorgi-Wilson, Ph.D., graduated from Temple University's Clinical Psychology program in 2023 and is currently a practicing Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Kristen's research experience has centered on emotion dysregulation and its behavioral manifestations, including non-suicidal self-injury, suicidality, and aggression. Kristen has been particularly interested in the overlap between different forms of behavioral dysregulation, the cognitive-affective factors underlying them, and psychopathology in which such behaviors co-occur (e.g., borderline personality disorder). Prior to graduate school at Temple, Kristen worked as a full-time research assistant at Butler Hospital of the Brown University Medical School, where she worked on several studies of suicide risk factors in adult psychiatric inpatients. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys running, baking, board games, and connecting with loved ones, near and far.
