She/her/hers

Jun is a PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania, studying Pharmacology. She received her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology, at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Boston. Shortly upon graduating in 2018, she worked at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP) in Philadelphia, developing adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors targeted for gene therapy. Currently in Dr. Yi Fan’s lab at Penn, her broad research interest is in the tumor microenvironment, studying the role of tumor associated macrophage (TAM) immunosuppression in glioblastoma. Outside of school, she is a lover of the outdoors (highly influenced by her childhood, growing up in Maine!). Jun is passionate about hiking, playing sports of all seasons, and chatting with her friends at happy hour. She highly values her work-life balance and prioritizes her physical, mental, and spiritual health above all else. Jun hopes to positively impact someone’s life through this program!
