Josh Golt is a clinical child psychology doctoral student at the University of Alabama. His clinical and research interest focus primarily on children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and emotion regulation problems. Specifically, Josh is interested in intervention development for emotion regulation problems that may mitigate other psychiatric problems. Prior to the University of Alabama, Josh completed his B.S. in Psychology at Florida State University where he conducted research in to early identification of autism in infants. At FSU, Josh was also a member of the school�s crew team. Following FSU, Josh moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to work at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. Here, Josh worked with adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder or schizophrenia. Following his three years at UPMC, Josh began his doctoral program at the University of Alabama. In his free time, Josh loves to be with his dogs, cook, and spend time outdoors!
