Joseph graduated from CUNY Hunter College, with a Masters in Psychology. He is currently a 3rd-year PhD student at the CUNY Graduate Center, studying clinical health psychology under a science-practitioner model. His research interests focus on the intersections of race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity that contribute to psychological and sexual health disparities among these populations. His clinical interests involve the delivery of newly developed sexual identity and gender affirmative psychotherapy for use among LGBTQ+ populations. Joseph currently lives in New York City, and is the proud father of two cats: John and Karen.
