Biography: Jordan is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Yale University. After receiving his BA in psychology from Sarah Lawrence College, Jordan spent a year at Yale as an Early Scholar Initiative (ESI) Post-Baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP) fellow. Jordan’s research interests are focused on better elucidating how early experiences shape neural and behavioral development. He has a particular interest in understanding how specific aspects of an early-life stress event, such as the age at which a stressor is experienced, may be uniquely associated with corticolimbic functional connectivity and the onset of anxiety-related disorders. Jordan’s research is supported by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Outside of research, Jordan enjoys practicing yoga, seeing theatre, and exploring new restaurants.
