Jolie is a first year Neurosciences PhD student at Stanford University. Previously, she attended UC Berkeley where she received a BA with double majors in neurobiology and music. She fell in love with neuroscience after her first research experience in undergrad studying taste neural circuitry in fruit flies. Her research interests include sensory neuroscience, brain circuits, and diseases of the nervous system. When she is not in the lab, she likes to play lots of classical piano, both by herself and with other people.
