A recipient of the Churchill and Goldwater Scholarships, Jasmine Stone is pursuing an MPhil in Engineering with Dr. Guillaume Hennequin at the University of Cambridge. A recent graduate of Yale College, she completed her B.S. in Computer Science with distinction and magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. After completing her MPhil, Jasmine will begin her PhD in Neurobiology and Behavior at Columbia University. Recently, she developed and released PsychRNN, a software package for modeling decision-making, memory, and other cognitive tasks using recurrent neural networks under the supervision of Dr. John Murray. She began her neuroscience research in 2014 investigating human depth processing with Drs. Alex Huk and Larry Cormack. In 2016, she spent the summer at Janelia working on algorithms for calcium ion imaging with Dr. Jeremy Freeman. She has interned at Google and CTRL-Labs, a brain machine interface company recently acquired by Facebook. Jasmine enjoys synchronized swimming, swing dancing, and playing violin
