She/her/hers

Hannah (she/her) is currently a Genetics and Data Science PhD student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Pamela Sklar Division of Psychiatric Genomics. She works in the lab of Dr. Laura Huckins, where her research focuses on the effect of developmental stage and age on the genetic regulation of gene expression in the frontal cortex. Hannah graduated in 2017 from the University of Colorado Boulder. While at CU Boulder, Hannah conducted research in various disciplines including affective neuroscience, synthetic biology, and behavioral genetics. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the relationship between genetic liability for sub-threshold psychotic experiences and schizophrenia. After graduating, she spent a year working at the University of Minnesota working on a trans-ancestral whole genome sequence analysis of alcohol and tobacco use.
