He/him/his

Grant Fairchild is a graduate student in the Integrative Neuroscience Ph.D. Program at the University of Nevada, Reno, having joined the program in 2017. He is a member of Dr. Jacqueline Snows Real-World Cognition Lab, with projects focused on investigating differences in neural and perceptual responses to real objects vs. images using fMRI, EEG, and eye tracking. The goal of these projects is to better establish the extent to which work done with images applies to the real world. His other research interests include the foundations and neural correlates of consciousness, computational neuroscience approaches, and brain-computer interfaces. Grant is heavily involved in neuroscience outreach and in developing infrastructure and community in the Universitys growing neuroscience program.
